Brock Whiston has been training hard towards the World Para Swimming Championships taking place this September in Singapore. In the lead up to this major event, she is continuing to compete domestically. Last weekend on 21/22 June 2025, Brock competed at the 5th ESSA Summer Open (Individual) Championships in Crawley. She took part in seven events including some that she doesn’t typically compete in. Whilst the event wasn’t a level 1 meet, Brock and her coach were extremely pleased with her times which included four seasons best and two of which would have broken European records.

Brock and her coach continue to learn from each of her events ahead of the World Championships and next up is the Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships on 15 July in Sheffield. Brock will be competing in five events: 100M breaststroke, 100M front crawl, 100M fly, 200M individual medley and 400M front crawl and we’ll look forward to sharing how she does and how training progresses.
